Scott Peck is an art historian and curator and director at the National Museum for Jewish Art in Dallas, Texas.
Peck has assembled five artists to explore the theme of the Garden of Eden, contrasting the beauty and innocence of creation against immorality and decay. Through paintings and sculptures, these artists highlight the original state of untested innocence, which can ultimately fall into corruption. This exhibition offers the ultimate choice of either nurturing nature or contributing to the human effect on decay and immorality across the world today.
