Hamutal Bar-Yosef is a well known Israeli writer, poet, translator  and scholar, the recipient of many literary prizes. Her poems have been translated into 15 Languages.she wrote books about Zelda and Lea Goldberg. 5 of her poems are included in this concert with Eran El-Bar’s music. Here is one of them:

Finger

There is a great finger straightening myself

like silver foil you rub against the table

carefully

to give as a gift to a child

it trembles and emits a very thin

ringing.
