English-guided tours are available over Hol Hamoed Sukkot (October 15-18) at the 4th Jerusalem Biennale for Contemporary Jewish Art

The Jerusalem Biennale, which runs from October 10 – November 28 and features over 200 Israeli and international professional artists in 30 exhibitions at multiple venues, is dedicated to exploring the intersect between the contemporary art world and the Jewish world of content. The two hour guided morning tours provide a unique framework for discussing this year’s theme “For Heaven’s Sake!” and interpreting the exhibitions.

Tour the exhibitions at the Wolfson Museum of Jewish Art, Heichal Shlomo. These include, among others:

Wednesday Oct. 16, 11:00am
Participate in the “King David St. Tour”, visiting the exhibitions in the YMCA, Hebrew Union College, and the North Africa Jewish Heritage Museum. These include, among others, Ziara: Moroccan Common Wisdom; Waterfall; In the Absence of Writing; From Near and Far Away: Dissenting Receptions of Jewish Warsaw; Of Wonder.

Participate in the “Center of Jerusalem Tour”, visiting exhibitions of the Muslala Urban Art Group in the Clal Building, and Machane Yehuda Market.
