"סדנת המשוררים הבינלאומית \ International Poets Workshop \ الورشة الدولية لشعراء"

A public premiere created especially for the Jerusalem Biennalle and the old Synagogue in the historic “Shaarei-Tzedek” hospital. Combining live and on-line readings, with poets from across the globe in English, Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, Greek, Armenian, Swedish, Bosnian, French, Hungarian and Portuguese.

During the first outbreak of the global pandemic, in the heart of the global chaos – a group of poets from across the globe came together for a unique creative encounter and poetic experiment, producing a rich mosaic of poems, prayers, manifestos and texts in more than 7 languages.

Tonight we wish to share with you poetry and prayers that travel beyond political borders, lockdowns and pandemics – gentle threads of light that for us helped transcended the darkest of times.
